Some pics of my Benz, purchased in August of 2005.

This is my second (2nd) MBZ 190 16V.

My first one lasted from 1989 to 2005, hence 16 years. The engine overheated and blew. I was bummed!!

Those were some great years with that car.
I got 162,000 miles out of it and earned a High Mileage Award from Mercedes.

Hopefully I can get 10 years out of this one .................................................. ..................................

Note it says 250,000 kilometers which equates to 155,000 miles. The car had 162K upon R.I.P.

Thanks for the positive feedback.

This EVO II-R is a special car. I found it when I was pretty down after the engine on my first 16V blew.

The EVO II-R was purchased from a car collector in California.

Here is some info on the genuine EVO II:

Some DTM action when EVO II and M3 EVO reigned supreme:

I've been inactive from this site for a while, until a fellow member reminded me from M5board.com.

So I'm glad to be back.

Update on the EVO II-R is there needs to be some body work done on the car.

Rear bumper to be exact after someone tapped me on I-95, one morning.

The damage is not terrible, but yet there is some damage.

Ive been trying to source an EVO II bumper but run into deadends as the main kit maker Erebuni has discontinued along with Bekker and others. I have found a guy in Germany for the bumper but it will cost $500 Euro without shipping.

So Im settling for the second best thing which is repairing the bumper.

We'll see how it goes.

Bumper damage:

While at the hair salon, I took a random pic: hmmm, notice the similiarities .........
