ASC delete is a different intake boot to get rid of the goofy restrictive ASC (traction control) one.

Thanks chris!

Can you please elaborate on the ASC delete a bit more? Will this work on my 98 323is 2.5L? I never knew about this mod.
Thanks in advance :)

You can come and see me, maybe you just need a recharge. Sometimes only 12 ounces get the A/C running cold again.
Does your system cool at all ? How long has it been not working ?

its been out for a few months now. it blows but its not cold. at night its not too bad,its almost comfortable when theres no sun. it doesnt blow hot air or anything, the air is just not cool. before it went out it was making these wierd noises on and off like a stutter sort of thing?:dunno: at first i figured it was th compressor, now im not so sure. if its something cheap and easy to fix ill get it done but if it is going to cost a bit, ill wait it out. its probably got a leak or something. if i try to drive during the day with the ac on, i start sweating immediatly, its very hot inside the car, but wasnt when i got it a few months back. actually if i drive with the windows DOWN i sweat too! the summer has been insane...ill see you this weekend, you can kinda check it out and see if anything pops out at you, if not dont worry about it...

It really does just sound like its low on refridgerant. After a few years that does happen. The fact that its blowing some cold air is a good thing.

The stock non-ASC TB boot is pretty restrictive/turbulent to. What you want is this baby:

my dad has been driving harder than me. I've only gone over like 5k twice (besides like 2 revs i threw in the parking garage to hear how it sounded stock (which is gay)). My dad has redlined it a few times already, and drives fairly quickly. They gave us a legacy 2.5GT to rent and my dad's like "yeah its a pretty fun little car, i had it in a nice four wheel drift up the onramp to 275"

TheDarkSide

I really like the L-GT

LDadrenaline
09-07-2006, 10:25 PM
yeah its a good car. The limited is even nicer, and manual too cuz this is auto. My dad said it has paddle shifters that react fairly quickly

TheDarkSide
09-07-2006, 10:35 PM
Nah, I would rock the limited manual

LDadrenaline
09-07-2006, 10:40 PM
yeah same here... legacy gt spec B. has the 6 speed from the STI

TheDarkSide
09-07-2006, 10:41 PM
I see, that would be the winner then.

LDadrenaline
09-07-2006, 10:42 PM
oh hell yeah. It only has 250 hp, but with the 6 speed, it just pwns the hell out of the regular leggy gt..... It also comes with leather interior and everything. Unlike german cars, the sat-nav goes to more than poland :)

TheDarkSide
09-07-2006, 10:45 PM
My buddy has the regular GT and I think it would woop my ass, but with all of his mods his clutch slips so bad!

LDadrenaline
09-07-2006, 10:45 PM
yeah clutches need to be upgraded after about 150 hp in mods.

TheDarkSide
09-07-2006, 10:47 PM
Do they have the transfer case problem too?

LDadrenaline
09-08-2006, 06:51 AM
idk really.... i dont know too much about the legacy. It's the same drivetrain as the wrx though I think. It does have better ABS and it does now have intellegent drive and traction control too. I dont like that kind of stuff hahaha

i like the newer legacy's... theres one or 2 that come in occasionally, nice cars. i might rock that over a wrx, its a bit more subtle i think
