Subframe party and BBQ at my house this Thursday!? (8-31)

Okay I'm starting my crazy crazy subframe project this week since all the parts got here early (BimmerWorld is the sh*t) and I know a few of you expressed interest in helping out and to learn E36 suspension hands on. I think I'll also throw a BBQ/pool party at the same time CAUSE IM CRAZY YO!1111111:rant: :run:

So yea if you feel like stopping by and lending a hand there will be food and fun (maybe?) as a reward! I don't want this to be abig thing cause sh*t always gets broken/vandalised when I do those....

SUCCESS!

So tonight I figured I'd get a head start and atleast start unbolting the simple stuff but ended up dropping the whole subframe assembly and all ;)

It was much easier than I thought it'd be and only took 2.5 hours to go from this....

So I decided to call it a night and tomorrow start tackling removing the old bushings (almost all of them are cracked/torn :eek:) and getting the welding done! Oh and there's no cracks or crazy stuff going on down there like JCapelos car I was very happy to see that!

I'll be doing 9 polyurethane bushings in all (RTAB(2), Subframe(4), Differential Mounts(3).

I'd be willing to cook the BBQ for some help, BBQing/Cooking is more in my arena than replacing the clutch, I already have experience at it.

Ok gangstas I've been busy doing/running errands/ working on it to get this **** done asap. I'm taking a lil 30 min break and after that I'm reassembling everything and reinstalling the subframe and everything else into the car! All bushings have been removed, new poly bushings installed just gotta mount everything to it now...

lol I ended up going to quaker steak and having my dick head of an ex boyfriend make himself look like an idiot. I didnt even know he was there, I didnt see his car or anything and I walk by a group of people (which is usual) and I hear F-YOU NICOLE BLAH BLAH BLAH CURSE CURSE CURSE!!! I did the right thing and ignored it, I didnt look back, I didnt say anything back I just kept walking. Score one for me on not doing anything back, sucks for him for making a complete idiot out of himself in front of like 20 people. Whatever....

Car feels great, much more nimble and responsive I love it!

Kinda dissapointed nobody even attempted stopping by or calling to lend a hand after all I try and help the local german scene with mech. stuff but watever. I did it myself! Not many can say they did a full subframe, welding, 9 bushings replacement job in 2.5 days on jack stands in their garage now can they?
