interior is the most different. i like the front end especially, but it could be lower.
those white wheels are nice!

not sure i dig the dodge ram design school approach to the front grille...

but they're still sharp little rides!

I especially love the colors they're available in... really rich and vibrant! (I'm allowed to use words like that without homo-suspicion because I'm a designer) :thumbu:

wow it looks great! I love the gauges actually, thats how it needs to be. Speedo is off to the side, and rpm is right in front of you! I've become a bigger fan of minis lately.

yeah, the gauges have always been awesome on the MINIs! the rpms are exactly where they need to be.

to clarify: i like the top grill on the front end, looks more like the aero kit design.
black web mesh grill = :headbang:

yeah i like the black web mesh grill too, but the grill seems a little too big. Still wouldn't deter me from buying it!

wayyy too high. maybe just that particular angle? i even went out to the garage to compare - the 2007 looks almost 1.5" higher than the previous stock suspension.

they're making the car bigger every year (which i dont really like). A nice set of springs will do nicely to fix that though :)

i hadn't noticed they were making the car bigger. they've all seemed pretty much the same since 2002, minus this 2007 model. although, the 2007 with some H&R's would seriously improve things.

i think timmy posted something before and in reading it i saw something about them becoming a little bigger. Like they were gonna make a wagon mini and a mini suv type thing.... idk maybe it was just speculation before

I *LOVE* it.. It's starting to look more like the old skool Minis from the front.

i agree....

i have always liked the Mini's though and especially loved that BMW bought them and kept them as much like the originals as possible, but with modern workings of course...

Minis rock, always have (even in the 50s!) and always will. I'd love to pick one up when the 07 turbos have been on the used car market for a couple years. That would be a fun little daily driver.

i like them a lot, i just wish they were smaller like the original mini's. The new ones are like 50 times bigger (for good reasons i guess.. comfort, etc.), but it would still be way cooler if they were the same size.

hey why i havent i seen the original mini yet jeff? need to sneak it out sometime! and the thing about mini wagons and such was top gear if i remember correctly...and they had the all british version, with teaspoons and teabags in the glovebox...that was the only difference i thought it was pretty stupid...

and the ride height probably went up because reporters always say it has a choppy ride but great handling so im guessing here that they wussed out and made it more comfy:thumbd: but yes your right some springs would fix that quickly

If I didn't know any better, I would say this more of a "facelift" than a new model. The interior and exterior are pretty much the same as the old model. Still looks good though :)

Someone else probably mentioned this by now, but does anyone else see the resemblance between the new seats and the seats in the Z3M?

JonnyChimpO

didnt really notice that.

Maybe it's something the previous Minis had that I just never noticed, maybe it's just me...

Looks alright, give it time itll prob grow on me. Looks pretty much Mini SUVish maybe a diff color with some nice wheels and lowered would have me sparked.
