03 CL600 Twin turbo V12, one of our good customers brought his CL in because he was hearing a squealing coming from the engine bay and we found that one of his tensioners were going bad and I ordered them up and about 3-4 days later before he could get back to have it replaced, he had an issue with the car starting to run warm and lost his power steering, I though maybe somehow his belt must have broken even though it wasn't that worn when we inspected it, but it turns out his water pump sized on him and ordering parts for this car became a night mare as MB of Tampa keeps absolutly nothing in stock for the CL600. So as we order another pulley that he needed due to his current one being pretty jacked up from the belt wearing grooves into it, turns out he needs a new upper cover that this particular pulley mounts too and to replace it you have to remove the valve cover, and doing so the top mount intercooler and air box as well as some other small parts have to be removed. This is definately one bad ass car and really moved once those turbo's spool up but I tell you what having such a rare limited production car really sucks when you need parts haha. Anyhow here are some pics :) enjoy!

Look at the HUGE amount of room you have to fit you had between the motor and radiator :)

WOW, who would have thought working on this car would be such a PITA. might as well add it to the list of most difficult cars to work on, like the B5 S4, Z32 300ZX, etc.

i was once lucky enough to encounter a CL600 on an I-75 on ramp that merges from 2 lanes to 1 before entering the highway. the guy tried to pass me in the outside lane (the one that ends/merges into my lane up ahead)...but judging by the way i pulled on him (severely), it couldn't have been a 2003+ CL600 (V12 twin turbo)...it must have been a pre-2003 N/A V12.

Shes all done and waiting for pickup :) Ill get some pics after she is detailed, man this car is a blast to drive but, you can really feel the weight unlike the way they have designed the E60 M5 to drive which has wayyyy less torque and 100hp less, it doesn't feel nearly as much of a boat.
